The American superhero web series “ The Umbrella Academy” will be back with its next season. The web series is an adaptation of the comic “The Umbrella Academy” by Gerard Way. The Umbrella Academy season 1 was premiered on February 2019 on Netflix.
The storyline of the Umbrella Academy Season 2
Way back in 1989, a billionaire named Sir Reginald Hargreeves, adopted seven children with unique abilities and strength to save the world in the future. He called these bunch of kids as “ The Umbrella Academy.”

In present, Luther ( number one), is an astronaut, Diego( number two), a restless troublemaker, Alison( number three), an actress, Klaus( number four), a drug addict, Number five, who comes back from the future to warn his siblings about apocalypse, Ben( number six), a ghost and Vanya (number seven), a violinist.
Now they have come to know about their father’s demise and promises to stick together to save the world from the apocalypse.
In season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, Vanya would be the reason for the apocalypse in the future. Her siblings will be helping her to get out from this mess by going back to the past. We will see Ben, who is attached to Klaus, will be having an essential role in this season. However, the series will not be following the same pattern as the comic.

Cast
The cast includes Tom Hopper as Luther, David Castañeda as Diego, Emmy Raven- Lampman as Allison, Robert Sheehan as Klaus, Aiden Gallagher as Number five and Ellen Page as Vanya. Some new entrants are likely to be seen in The Umbrella Academy Season 2.

The makers of The Umbrella Academy have announced that the production of Umbrella Academy Season 2 has kicked off. So could expect Season 2 at the end of 2019 or early 2020.
