The renowned singer of ‘Thank U, Next’ and other hits, Ariana Grande, again paid a kind honor to Jim Carrey. This time by scribbling a quote from the actor’s movie, The Truman Show, on her body as a tattoo. For those who are unaware of the excerpt, then it is “‘In case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening and good night!’
How She Broke the News about Ariana Grande’s Tattoo?
The singer announced about the tattoo by reposting a screenshot of her cousin, Courtney Chipolone’s tattoo. The Instagram story is captioned as “I got the same s*** but upside down.” The tattoo artist, Mira Mariah, was also tagged in the post. Ari appreciated her with words like, “You are perfect @girlknewyork.”

Though we can say Courtney has the tattoo on the back side of her left shoulder, we can’t claim as of now where Ariana got the tattoo.
When Else Ariana Paid Tribute to Jim Carrey?
The Canadian-American actor is one of Ariana’s favorite. This is not the first honor paid to Jim by the singer. In April also, a quote by Jim on depression was posted by Ariana on her Instagram account. The caption read as, “The whole loml (love of my life). Forever.”
The quotation was, “Depression is your body saying I don’t want to be this character anymore. I don’t want to hold up this avatar that you’ve created in the world. It’s too much for me. You should think of the word ‘depressed’ as ‘deep rest.’ Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you’ve been trying to play.” Ariana also emphasized that she can relate to the quotes.

A perfect idol-fan moment display was when Jim replied to Ariana, his hardcore follower. He said, “I read your lovely mention of me and things I’ve said about depression. A brilliant teacher and friend, Jeff Foster was OG on the Deep Rest concept.”
In revert, Ariana wished him freedom and peace with words like: “I admire your openness. I wish you freedom and peace. I feel blessed to have such a gifted admirer.”
