The Witcher
Those who are already familiar with the books know surely what’s in store for them. The story is set in a universe where all sorts of races and beasts are populating the continent.
Geralt of Rivia is the main protagonist of the show. Henry Cavil plays a role in this Netflix adaptation. The two other characters of the show are Anya Cholatra and Freya Allan who will join Geralt. These two characters are also present in the books.
What Is A Witcher?
Geralt is the witcher in the show who is a hunter of deadly beasts. He has extraordinary supernatural powers to subdue the beasts.
Till now, Netflix only has released a collection of images to keep the excitement level up. The trailer is yet to come.
When Is It Coming?
There is a panel set for the show on 19 July at San Diego Comic-Con. Fans are expecting to have the trailer hopefully by then. The series is going to be divided into eight parts. By the end of the year, we can expect the show to be released fully. Although, Netflix has not officially announced any date regarding this.
The Photos
Netflix has released the official poster of the show along with eight other images. The photos give us a sneak peek into the character’s appearance. Geralt is seen in armor and a sword in his hand. Princess Ciri is seen in a cloak; no other details are revealed. Chaltora is wearing heavy fur and yielding a dagger.
Netflix provided an official description of the show stating that “It is an epic tale of fate and family.”
