The couple that met online in 2016 and later converted to girlfriend-boyfriend are now engaged. We are talking about “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams, a former contestant on “The Bachelorette.” On the seashore, the 35-year-old proposed both shared her girlfriend and the beautiful moments on their Instagram accounts on Tuesday.

The beach proposal, the surprised look of Sarah, sheer happiness, and the avid kiss all were there in a drone video shared by Adam. The caption with the video reads as “I’ll be Johnny, you be June. But forever”. The images were also released by the 28-year-old actress. Her caption on the Instagram post was “That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff.”

The Surprise Planned By Adam For Sarah
On the day he revealed about his engagement Adam was in an interview with co-host Brandi Cyrus for “Your Favorite Thing” podcast. There he jokingly shared that “She said yes, which was, I think, surprising to everyone involved. Real touch and go there.”
Interestingly, he also unveiled that it was a surprise for Sarah where the photographer “was hiding in the bushes because it was private; just us having a picnic.” He added that the guy waited for a nod and “Then all of a sudden, he scurries out of the bushes like, ‘snap, snap, snap, snap, snap,’ and Sarah’s like ‘What is happening?’ ” Adams recalled. “And then all of a sudden we were in this cool engagement shoot.”

When it was asked that was Sarah was really surprised by the proposal. He said, “ I don’t think so.” “I think she’ll say that she was. I threw her off at the end. I think she knew it was happening and then right before we left I was dressed pretty frumpy and she was like, ‘What?’ I was like ‘is this T-shirt, OK?’ and she was like, ‘You’re wearing a T-shirt?’ But listen, Sarah’s a smart girl. She knew what was happening, I think” he added.
When Are They Getting Married?
On the show, he also informed that when the fans can hear about their tie knotting news. He said it would take “well over a year” before the couple will take vows.
“We haven’t figured out anything,” he said. “Phase one was just ‘get engaged.’ We’re still in phase one.”
