Money Heist Season 3: Release Time, Plot, Episodes And More

Friday is here, and so is our favourite Netflix Spanish drama series- La Casa de Papel or Money Heist! And we’ve got one last refresher on everything you need to know before the new season drops!

What Time Does It Release?

The best part is Season 3 releases today in its entirety for viewers to binge-watch at once. The release comes at midnight at California time, from where Netflix’s headquarters are located.

And it releases worldwide exactly then too. So, no, you can’t switch to a different country’s IP address to watch it earlier. But if you want to know when it releases in your country, find the difference between your time and Pacific Standard Time!

How Many Episodes Will The New Season Have?

Season three of La Casa De Papa features eight episodes- all crime-thriller, available only on Netflix.

The Cast

Good news for fans, all the major characters will be returning to the screen on this show today! Álvaro Morte as El Professor, Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo and Miguel Herrán as Rio will all be part of the main cast. And Raquel Murillo (Itzaur Ituno), Denver (Jaime Lorente) and Nairobi (Alba Flores) will be joining them again.

On a more surprising note, Pedro Alonso will also be returning as Berlin. Oops, he’s not dead. Or maybe he has an identical twin (Clifford and Claudius style). We’ll find out soon.

The Plot

“This time it’s not about the money. This time it’s about family.” A power-fact and rather frightening tagline. Money Heist started off with a team of masked thieves stealing money (€2.4 billion to be exact). And Season 2 ended with them escaping and going separate ways.

Season 3 will lift off from there, but with the team on a mission to save instead of steal. We’re going to see them reunite to try to save one of there own. Rio (played by Miguel Herran) captured by Panama patrol boats, must be saved from the authorities and the gang is his only hope.

Does It Have A Trailer?

Yes, in fact, it does. And you can watch it right here:

“We managed to escape, but now comes the most difficult part. Surviving.” To say it’s exciting would be an understatement.
