After giving hits like Bang Bang, Super Bass, and Anaconda, rapper-singer Onika Tanya Maraj, aka Nicki Minaj, has gained popularity among a hundred thousand fans but her decision to stay and marry with disgusting criminal and offender Kenneth Zoo Petty has made those fans shocked and annoyed.
When the news surfaces that the 37-year-old had renewed her romance with Petty, fans were infuriated by the decision and asked her to leave him. However, Minaj decided not to leave her childhood sweetheart, and later on October 21, 2019, she dropped the bombs among her fans. She claimed that she had secretly tied the knot with criminal Petty and shared the image of the same through her Instagram handle.
Back in 2018, she received an immense amount of hate when she told that she was having sex with Petty—a convicted of sexual assaulter—for reported three or four times a day. The victims of sex abuse and various woman safety organizations came forward and slammed the singer for her notorious behavior. Kenneth Petty was convicted for raping a 16-year-old and then shooting a man dead in cold blood.
He was imprisoned for four years in 1994 after NYPD’s Sex Offender Unit arrested him for assaulting a teenage girl. He then came out of the prison after four years but again killed a man identified as Lamont Robinson on April 27, 2002. He shot the man dead on his stomach and was sentenced to ten years in federal prison. Petty served only seven years in prison.
Despite Petty’s horrible crimes, Nicki Minaj is still with him and providing luxuries he hadn’t even dreamt of. She also included him in the music video, Megatron last year and defending him against her fans and critics. She once directly replied and slammed the Internet accusing that they are trying to ruin her life because they can’t control their own.
She wrote, but go awf, Internet. Y’all can’t run my life. Nicki Minaj and Kenneth are genuinely in love, and they can’t be separated, at least by fans and critics’ backlash or hatred.
