The Jim Edmonds affair saga continues

Marriage is about binding two people in an eternal bond of love and commitment. It can be beautiful. But if the essence of infidelity creeps in between this sacred bond, it can wreck the lives of the people involved.

The latter is what happened with former Real Housewives of Orange County star, Meghan King Edmonds.

Heart of the matter:

Recently, Meghan’s husband and former MLB player, Jim Edmonds, was embroiled in an ‘affair scandal.’

After the incident became public via AllAboutTheTea, Jim told USA Today that there was no physical relation between him and his mistress. He said the media outlet that, “Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment. I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person”. “At no time was there any relationship or physical contact. None. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past,”, he added.

Aftermath:

Meghan also took to her blog to address the issue. “I called Jimmy, and he confessed to me that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over several months, and a physical relationship never existed. He paid her off to protect me, so I’d never find out.” She wrote. “Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair, and he admits this to me.” She added.

Rumors about the couple breaking apart in the wake of the scandal reached new heights after the Real Housewives of Orange County star appeared in an Instagram post without her wedding ring.

Through the photo, she thanked online Mulberry & King “for forcing me to take care of myself.”

Irrespective of what the speculations say, it is currently unclear whether the couple will be able to weather the storm or will they split up.

Megan has received support from her loyal fanbase and colleagues.

The couple has three children, a pair of 1-year-old twins, Hart and Heyes and a 2-year-old daughter, Aspen.
