The comedy and adventurous animated movie The Angry Birds is back with The Angry Birds Movie 2. The movie is directed by Thurop Van Orman. The Angry Birds Movie 2 is the sequel of The Angry Birds Movie which was released way back in 2010.
These movies are based on the Angry Birds game series by Rovio Entertainment.
What the Story?
The never-ending war between The Angry Birds and Bad Piggies are still on. The piggies desperately want the bird eggs back.
One night, the emperor of the Bad Piggies, King Mudbeard, visited Red’s house. He informed him that their Islands were in danger. Previously, The Bad Piggies island was hit by a big ice ball from another island somewhere far. Zeta, a mysterious purple bird, owns this unknown island. She was unhappy and fed up in her frozen and remote island where she lives.
Now, The Angry Birds and The Bad Piggies have to forget their enmity and fight together against their common enemy Zeta, the bird.
Nicki Minaj joins the Cast
The movie The Angry Birds Movie 2 features the voice of Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Danny McBride as Bomb, Peter Dinklage as Mighty Eagle, Bill Hader as King Mudbeard aka Leonard and others.
Newcomers like Leslie Jones as Zeta, Nicki Minaj as Pinky, Awkwafinn as Courtney also joins the cast.
Release Date
The final trailer of The Angry Birds Movie 2 was released on 20th of June 2019. The trailer gave a glimpse of how the birds and piggies were preparing themselves to fight against their new enemy, Zeta.
