R. Kelly still not proved innocent
The singer R.Kelly has been jailed as he has been accused of many crimes which include child pornography and assaulting teenage girls sexually. He has still not been proved innocent and remains to be behind bars. He still awaits his trial on child pornography.
Kelly, 52, is facing one count of conspiracy to receive child pornography, two counts of receiving child pornography, four counts of producing child pornography, five counts of enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice, the document shows.
Assistant U.S. attorney named angel Cullis of the opinion that Kelly is a threat to the society, especially to the minors. Other defense attornies have reported that Kelly has no money to flee from the country. Though Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg has said that they both were pretty disappointed by the decision of the judge as he had strived to free Kelly of the charges. However, the judge has taken many other points into account and has decided otherwise, and it is their duty to respect his decision.
Kelly was also arrested in Chicago because he was found trying to persuade people to conceal his crime, he had also threatened them. He has also blown thousands of rupees on buying the missing videotapes which recorded all the illegal activities committed by him.
Kelly has been kept in solitary confinement. He is not allowed any access to the television of contacting anyone, which also includes the members of his family. On his next hearing, it would be determined whether or not every charge against him is mere conspiracy to defame him or he is truly guilty.
