Russi Taylor, the voice of Minnie Mouse, is dead. She was 75 years old.
Russi and Minnie die
What a tragic end to our lovely Minnie’s voice. Russi has been working with Disney since 1980s and dies in 2019. Walt Disney Company released the news. They have not told the reason for her death yet. She was in Glendale, California, when the incident took place.
She had been working for three decades and lent her voice for various Disney projects, including movies, television, and theme park. CEO of Walt Disney Company Bob Iger said, “Minnie Mouse lost her voice with the passing of Russi Taylor.”

Mickey and Minnie were married
Russi was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was born on May 4, 1944. Ever since she met the founder when she went for a trip to Disneyland, she wanted to work with him.
She once told, “At one point during our chat, he asked me what I wanted to do when I grow up, and I said, ‘I want to work for you!’ So he said, ‘Okay!’—and now I do.” Our real-life Minnie Mouse was married to Wayne Allwine who was the voice of Mickey Mouse until 2009 when he died. They met in the 1980s and got married in 1991. With the death of Roussi, the Mickey and Minnie both die for now in Disney.
