Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber’s feud has led everyone to curiosity about what is going on between them. Everyone has got tons of questions and queries in their mind regarding the latest controversy. After Taylor Swift has posted a letter attacking Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, everyone in the industry is coming up with varied opinions on the matter. Though such controversy might seem regular on the outer end, there’s a lot to know behind the whole conflict.
WHY DID TAYLOR WRITE A LETTER
This question takes us back to Scooter Braun. Swift was signed to Big Machine records before she decided to change the record company and switched to Republic Records. It was announced on June 30th that Scooter bought Big Machine records for $300 and now due to swift’s previous agreement with the company, all her albums she recorded under that company are no longer her property. She owns no right for any of those earlier recorded albums, and this was all where the feud began. Therefore, now scooter owns all the copyrights for Taylor’s recorded albums under the label Big Machine. Though an artist is informed about when their records are on sale, Taylor claims that she did not receive any prior warnings regarding this.
Taylor’s side of the story
Swift recently wrote on her Tumblr page about how badly scooter treated her and bullied her over the years. She said that she felt attacked by Bieber’s post on Instagram, that shows scooter and Kanye West on a facetime call with Justin, with the caption that says “Taylor Swift What’s Up.” She ranted about this bullying incident as she wrote “…Now Scooter Has stripped me of my Life’s work, that I wasn’t given an opportunity to buy. Essentially, My musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it.”

According to Taylor Swift, the previous owner of the record label. Scott Borchetta has all clue about the whole hostility between her and scooter. This led her to major disappointment that even after knowing this, Scott sold the label and her album’s master rights to scooter without any prior announcement to Taylor.
What’s up with Justin Bieber in this Feud
Though Justin has no direct involvement in the whole mess, his Instagram post apologizing to Taylor for the photo he posted years ago, has given air to other controversies. in his post he mentions that scooter was not involved in that post and it was all his (Bieber’s) idea. He also said that he feels Taylor should have talked to his and scooter before ranting it all on the social platform. but Justin’s choice of words were probably not the best to calm down Taylor as he wrote: “seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter.”
It seems like celebs have their own sense of judgments as they have decided to choose their side. While demi sided with the scooter, Halsey vehemently supported Taylor. Cara Delevinge bashed Justin’s wife Hailey for supporting him, instead of rationalizing that Taylor has been treated wrong. Taylor’s friend Gomez’s mother also sided with Taylor supporting her and asking artists to know their rights and what their contracts demands before agreeing to it. Other artists, including Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, supported Taylor for whatever wrong has been done to her.
Hence, the feud seems not a regular one. Justin’s post has obviously put the already happening conflict on fire. No one, for now, knows who wins.
