“Lucipher” is renewed for season 5! Here’s all you need to know!

Seeing how the Lucifer season 4 dropped on Netflix, you might be anxiously wondering whether we would get a fifth helping of the big hit Lucifer series. It looks like you just might! This Tom Kapinos TV adaptation of the DC comics is now renewed for a fifth season.
Here are some of the scarce but exciting details of the mysterious Lucifer season 5.

When is the release?

This is probably the most searched for the question, well, after the question of “if” there is going to be Lucifer season 5 or not!

I could tell you I know the approximate date at the least, but then it would be declared lying seeing how we are entirely kept in the dark coming to the release date. But if we do go by the previous Netflix style of releasing and renewing seasons, along with the production timeline, we could safely expect the release to happen somewhere around the late spring or early summer of 2020.

What is the story?

Seeing how Lucifer season 4 ended in a remarkable cliffhanger, a lot of the season 5 plot is completely open to speculation. It’s probably quite challenging to predict how the plot might propagate.

But whatever the plot, it’s impossible to expect Lucifer to be content by just sitting pretty on the throne. This season might focus on what it’s like to rule hell.

Who’s coming back?

It would be downright stupid not to expect the charmingly handsome Tom Ellis to be back as the Lucifer.

Lauren German would probably be back to being Detective Cloe Decker along with detective Dan Espinoza (played by Kevin Alejandro). Amenadiel (played by DB Woodside), Mazikeen (played by Lesly-Ann Brandt), Ella Lopez (played by Aimee Garcia), Dr Linda Martin (played by Rachael Harris), and Trixie Espinoza (played by Scarlett Estevez) would all be expected to be back seeing how they were an excellent supporting cast and kept the plot going.
