Ariana Grande could not be found anywhere on the orange carpet of Nickelodeon’s kids choice awards at the Galen centre in LA on Saturday.
The “THANK YOU, NEXT” singer was nominated for two awards favourite female artist and favourite song for the same song.
However, Grande,25, whose claim to fame prior to pop stardom was playing Cat Valentine in the nick show Sam & Cat and Victorious did not show up in the choice awards.
Her brother, Frankie Grande, however, did not skip it, and he chatted with the ET about his sister, revealing why she could not make it! “I’m here to celebrate in person with everyone in the arena tonight.
She’s nominated for two awards, I really hope she wins both of them!” said Frankie during his orange carpet interview. He explained that he was pretty much repping his whole family, including Ariana, who is currently on tour.

New York on Monday, She has also been sharing photos from her show on her Instagram, and fans are loving it! Surely Ari would have loved to be at the awards show as the last time she showed up was back in 2014 so she probably has fond memories and would have killed to be back this year if not for her conflicting schedule.
