There has been a question regarding Angelina Jolie’s role in MCU but now it is confirmed that she will play the character of Sersi in The Eternals.
The Eternals is a movie in phase 4 of Marvel Cinematic Universe and an impressive line up of stars has already signed it. Angelina Jolie is one of them.
It is now confirmed that She will play the character of Sersi who is one of the Eternals upon whom the movie is based around.
Eternals are the fictional characters who possess superpowers and have a life longer than humans and exercise their superpowers to protect the humankind and against the antagonists.
The Eternals is to be directed by Chloe Zhao. And the script is written by Ryan Furlo and Matthew.
Sersi is a fictional super-heroine character appearing in American Comic Books published by Marvel Comics. Sersi’s character has been depicted as one of the eternals in the Eternal.
Sersi is the character who always protect the humankind. Many of the Eternals wish to remain separate from the humans buy Sersi has always wanted to be among the humans. It is also because of her own problems.
Sersi is known for her being involved in many important moments of humans history in Avengers.
As we all know that she is not a villain but many of the times she has exercised her superpowers in unpredictable situations and thus put the Avengers in danger. Hence, it is not known till now that whether the previous storyline will be incorporated in the upcoming Eternals movie or the screenwriters will totally go in the new direction.
What we know currently is that the Angelia Jolie will play this role in a fabulous manner.
Now the interesting news that has been going around the industry is that Keanu Reeves may be planning on joining the MCU. And the important thing that has popped up is that the Eternals could be his debut movie in the MCU.
But we cannot be sure until and unless Marvel or Keanu Reeves himself confirms this. But it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Seeing the recent success he has gotten from the John Wick Franchise Marvel might be eyeing to get him to join their Cinematic Universe.
