Tampa, Fl: A helicopter carrying two passengers crashed on Palm River in Hillsborough county on Thursday resulting in the death of one motorist.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at around 2:30 p.m. when a Robison helicopter crashed on 50th Street and Palm River. During the crash, one of the rotors of the helicopter struck a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and killed the passenger in the truck.
There were two people present inside the helicopter during the crash both of whom are being reported harmed. There are also no other injuries being reported due to the crash.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office has informed the people in a tweet that due to the debris from the crash and the power lines that were knocked down by the helicopter, “50 St S near Palm River will be closed for an extended period of time.” Hillsborough County SO has advised people to avoid the area and find an alternate route.

Authorities have not released the names or identities of any of the person involved in the crash or any of the victims.
